Carla Shapreau, Curator of the Salz Collection of Stringed Instrument at Berkeley Music has recently contributed new publications on Nazi-era plunder and confiscation of musical instruments.

“The Nazi Confiscation of Wanda Landowska’s Musical Collection and Its Aftermath” was published in vol. 32 (2020) of Polin: Studies in Polish Jewry.

She also published a chapter in The Oxford Handbook of Musical Repatriation (2019) entitled “Bells in the Cultural Soundscape: Nazi-Era Plunder, Repatriation, and Campanology.”
