Morrison Recitals

Concert Schedule

Musicians with campus affiliation are invited to perform in a student-run concert series held on some Mondays and Fridays at 12:15 in Room 125 Morrison Hall. Auditions are not required, but dates must be reserved in advance. Obtain applications from the Practice Desk, ground floor Morrison Hall, or you may download a form, Get Application Here (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader). Return completed applications to the practice desk as soon as possible. Please note that concert dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis (many want concert dates near the end of the semester). Dates in the final weeks of each semester are reserved for performance class finals.

Morrison Concerts are coordinated by student services assistant Christy Kyong who works at the practice desk. For details Get Information Sheet Here (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).

These concerts would be suitable for a solo or chamber recital program, a master class, or a Music 150 class or faculty recital, or a performance by any of the department performance ensembles. Concerts should be approximately 40 minutes long (including breaks). The series is intended to give as many music students as possible an opportunity to perform, so music students are given priority.
