Support for Students

The Music Department supports the University's commitment to providing access to graduate and undergraduate students. The incomparable education offered at Berkeley is due in large part to the intellectual exchange between faculty and students. The University hires some of the best faculty in the world due in large part to our ability to attract some of the best graduate students in the world. In turn, they will become intellectual leaders in the United States and beyond. Benefiting from both are our undergraduate students, with whom the excitement of new discoveries is shared in the classroom. An investment in our students - graduate and undergraduate - will enable more to experience all the Music Department has to offer.
