Jean Ahn, a senior composition lecturer in the Department of Music, recently published a new book, titled "Korean Art Songs: Folksongs Revisited." Available now from Hildegard Publishing, the book features contemporary reinterpretations of classic Korean folk music, alongside historical information about the songs.

Soprano Raejin Lee and composer Jean Ahn have collected traditional Korean folk songs in collaboration with traditional folk singers. They then reinterpreted the songs for voice and piano.
