Professor Ken Ueno recently had a successful run of 9 sold-out shows of his installation/performance, Daedalus Drones, at the Asia Society of Hong Kong. An hourlong site-specific piece, instrumentalizing flying drones and a fence-labyrinth, it was hailed by China Daily as “an ingeniously crafted work that marries myth and science, presenting primal sounds via bespoke new technology.”
