My research interests include opera staging and theories of acting as well as metatheatricality and medium specificity in 20th-c. art criticism. I graduated from Knox College in 2018 with a double major in Art History and Music, where I wrote my honors thesis on issues of minimalism and Einstein on the Beach. Before coming to Berkeley, I worked in the audience services departments of the MN Opera and the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
I am a singer and study with Margaret Izard. Recent roles include Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance, Bianca in La Rondine, and Miles in The Turn of the Screw.
